of Biotechnology was established in 1996 under
self financed programme. The department has erected
basic experimental facilities for M.Sc. practical
and project work The students
of the department are regularly sent to work in different Universities and
other prestigious institutes.

Post Graduate Course
M.Sc. Biotechnology: Full time
course spread over four semesters. This includes
Biochemistry and
Biophysics, Biostatstics and Bioinformatics,
Genetics, Instrumentation, and Immunotechnology,
Genetic Resources, Cell and Molecular Biology,
Recomenant of DNA Technology, Environmental
Biology , Bioprocess Technology, Microbial
Biotechnology, Tissue Culture Technology,
Animal Biotechnology
and Plant Biotechnology.
Ph.D. Programme: The Department
is equipped for Ph.D. programme in Molecular Biology. |
